Australia’s whitest sands, vivid, turquoise waters and a seascape strewn with rocky islands make Esperance one of the most visually captivating places in the country.  The scenic virtues of Esperance are the stuff of Instagram legend. Dreamy, clear waters lap pristine shores, and kangaroos bask on the beach, while an offshore island has a lake so weirdly pink, it beggars belief. Esperance is 700 kilometres (434 miles) southeast of Perth; a full day’s drive or a 1.5 hour flight with Regional Express, but for the large landscapes and wild natural wonders makes it very much worth the journey.
